5.16 PRBS Test

The PRBS (pseudo- random binary sequence) pattern is 2

-1(unframed). E1, T1 and V.35 are all able to

have this Bit Error Rate testing performed.

In order to do the test, any E1 data link can be selected to have a PRBS test. The test results will be shown in

the number of error bits as well as the calculated bit error ratio.

You can only choose one channel to generate or analyze at one time.

Info : The PRBS function is only used in unframed line cards or in framed cards set for unframed.
